FTC | FRC | FLL (First Robotics Competitions)
The FIRST Robotics programs—FTC (First Tech Challenge), FRC (First Robotics Competition), and FLL (First LEGO League)—inspire students to innovate through robotics. Teams design, build, and program robots to tackle themed challenges, promoting collaboration, leadership, and STEM enthusiasm.
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC)
FTC engages students in grades 7-12 to design and program robots for annual challenges. Emphasizing technical skills, teamwork, and community engagement, FTC offers real-world engineering experiences while promoting core values like professionalism and cooperation.
FIRST LEGO League (FLL)
FLL introduces children aged 9-16 to STEM through LEGO Mindstorms robots, research projects, and tournaments. With a focus on creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving, FLL provides a fun and impactful way to explore science and technology concepts.

ROBOTEX

ROBOTEX is one of the largest robotics festivals globally, where students get hands-on experience building and programming robots. Participants engage in competitive tasks like robot soccer, line-following challenges, and obstacle courses. This is a thrilling event that celebrates the excitement of engineering and technology.

Named after Nobel Laureate Dr. C.V. Raman, this prestigious science exam is designed to inspire young scientists to pursue their passion for discovery. The exam challenges students’ knowledge in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, pushing them to think beyond textbooks and explore the wonders of science.

The Dr. C.V. Raman Exam fosters scientific curiosity and understanding among students, encouraging them to pursue careers in basic science research. Recommended for Class 5 (Junior Group) and Class 7 (Senior Group), the exam comprises two phases: a written test with 100 MCQs in January, followed by practicals and an interview for selected candidates. The syllabus spans **Physics** topics like Force and Pressure, Simple Machines, Motion, and States of Matter; Chemistry topics like Energy Conservation, Materials, Air, and Water; Math concepts including Place Value, Operations, Factors, Symmetry, and Measurement; and Biology, covering Plant Growth, Animal Adaptation, Human Brain, Food, and Hygiene. It aims to inspire deeper engagement with science and math while promoting critical thinking.

Dr. Homi Bhabha Exam

The Dr. Homi Bhabha Exam celebrates the spirit of scientific inquiry. This competition focuses on evaluating students' knowledge of science, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Participants gain a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and their applications in the real world.

The Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition, conducted in Maharashtra for students of Classes 6 and 9, promotes scientific temperament and interest in subjects like Physics (Force, Pressure, Simple Machines, Motion, States of Matter), Chemistry (Energy Conservation, Materials, Air, Water), and Biology (Plant Growth, Animal Adaptations, Human Brain, Food & Health, Hygiene). Organized by the Mumbai Science Teachers' Association and the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, the exam honors Dr. Homi Bhabha's legacy and inspires young minds through written tests and practical assessments.
